[Fellowships] Bulk removal of a Fellow from all submissions' fellowships
Feature Request
Description
Fellows are added to a submission's fellowship at the moment of submission and remain in it until the submission's processing is closed, triggering actions like automated email reminders when necessary. When a Fellow's tenure ends, that Fellow needs to be removed from all current submissions of which they are not an Editor in Charge and all ongoing votes where they are not EiC to prevent spamming them with emails after their tenure ended. Ideally this feature should be an independent action and not automatically triggered by the end of a Fellowship to allow Editorial Administration to oversee the process.
Proposals
-
Proposal 1
Create a button on Fellows' fellowship page (https://scipost.org/colleges/fellowships/[XXX]/) to remove them from all ongoing submissions for which they are not EiC and simultaneously remove them from all ongoing votes on submissions for which they are not EiC. -
Proposal 2
Create a button on Fellows' fellowship page (https://scipost.org/colleges/fellowships/[XXX]/) or on the submissions pool to remove them from all ongoing submissions for which they are not EiC. Create a separate button remove the fellow from all ongoing votes on submissions for which they are not EiC either on their fellowship page or on the pool.
Additional Information
The feature would be mostly used at the end of a Fellowship, but there could be unforseen circumstances (maybe vacations?) where we would like to use it, so a separate action is preferable. We should be careful not to remove the Fellow from submissions of which they are taking charge as they need to be able to act on these submissions until a replacement is found.
