Determine submitting author order

George Katsikas requested to merge dev_GK_20230626_profile_matching_preassignment into master

This MR fixes #72 by trying to determine the correct author position from the user-provided list. It will not work retroactively for open submissions. Fallback for failure is as before: assuming that the submitting author is first.
